A site that takes a position before it sells itself.
Social Docs
Project
The new website of Social Docs, Brazil's first studio specializing in social impact stories. It makes documentaries for brands and organizations such as Visa, Amazon and UNICEF, and has been a Certified B Corporation since 2017.
Challenge
Social Docs needed to reposition itself, and its old site was no help. It was generic, with none of the quality or the emotion of the studio's films. The new positioning answers a recent problem for large companies. In a polarized world, talking about social and environmental impact has become a risk, and many companies with real projects stopped publicizing them so as not to be questioned.
Solution
A site that sells the positioning before the services. Social Docs has its own answer to that silence: speaking in a way that holds up. The page runs as a single scene, and its transitions give each line time to be read as it appears. The services rise over the manifesto, and the message stays with the visitor through to the work: six cases that open in place, with the evidence, the narrative and what resisted.
Social Docs makes its living telling real stories. The site tells its own: a strong thesis, numbers, cases and testimonials as proof.
The manifesto
The approach is one paragraph about greenhushing. It lights up as it is read, and the words that carry the argument get their own marks: a highlight, a wave and a double line.
Services
Audiovisual and consulting rise over the manifesto, and one principle sits under both: start from the real story the organisation has already lived.
Credentials
500+ films, 1,000+ interviews, 60M views and a B Corp seal since 2017. The numbers give way to the clients, and the testimonials change on their own while a line under each one fills like a timer.
